Liposuction?
One great thing about really buckling down to drop some pounds: When I’m being diligent, I pop out of bed in the morning (with no alarm at 5 a.m.) because I can’t WAIT to weigh myself. I know, really sick. But you know what? It still beats sleeping in and gaining weight all to heck.
So I walked out of the bathroom before the crack of dawn, all smiles even though it was too dark for Doug to see me. “Lost another one-half,” I said. “So that makes eight pounds.”
He didn’t roll over or open his eyes. But somehow he always knows just what to say.
“That’s an Oreck XL.”
What a guy.

Fallible Comments...
That’s hilarious! I agree, he has the gift of the appropriate comment.
Or would that be a gift of the Blarney? ;)

Reminds me of a line from America’s Sweethearts: “You lost 60 pounds? That’s a Backstreet Boy.”
That’s pretty good of your hubby coming up with the Oreck line while still half asleep, lol.

Dad is mad funny!
Lynn-An Oreck XL is a vacuum that weighs only 8lbs…but why that would enter his mind in this situation is beyond me!

He’s a goof ball, and never more than when he’s barely awake. That’s when I can elicit the most entertainment value from the man, so I DO!!! Glad you guys enjoyed his weirdness, too…..
